How has the loft conversion changed your family's lives?

It has changed our lives in many levels. First of all it allows us to live comfortably as a family of four. Then it provides us with the space to work from home and having flexible hours of work is invaluable for a balanced life. Last but not least the structure of conversion the architect came up with was something we hadn’t thought was possible. The new set up provides us with a “grown up” space where we can retire to after the children have gone to bed. Without Altitude’s insight I am not sure we could have maximised the potential of the conversion.

At what stage of the project were you most pleased?

Naturally when it was all completed and we could occupy the new space.

What were you most worried about prior to the project commencing?

The disruption of our home. Our children were only 6 months and 2 years old at the time and having the work done with the help of our existing staircase inside the house.

Were the timescales provided met and within your expectations?

The project overran by 3 weeks but this was due to additional items that were requested by us during the build such as bespoke furniture and other items.

Did Altitude Lofts stick to the quote provided prior to the works starting?

Yes, they did.

How would you rate Altitude Lofts?

We would rate them highly and have already recommended them to neighbours, whose conversion has since been completed.
