Altitude Lofts recently completed my loft conversion in Banstead. They created us a beautiful master bedroom and en-suite with built in wardrobes. With a growing family, we really needed the additional space.

Everyone on site was exceptional, Raf, our team leader was very professional and a true master craftsman. Emma in the office was very helpful and communicated well throughout. We had our loft converted to a bedroom with ensuite in june 2021. Billy, Chiara and Emma went above and beyond to ensure our build went ahead on schedule and were easy to work with and always responsive.

The reason we chose to go with one company to manage our conversion was to have a single point of contact to coordinate all the trades, and we were so glad we did, as these all came together seamlessly and quickly to complete the project to a very high standard.

Altitude completed our loft conversion over the Summer and it has transformed our living space. During early meetings Billy suggested ways of maximising the space and this has resulted in 2 good sized bedrooms and a bathroom. Sylwester and Sebastian, our builders, were polite, friendly and incredibly hard working. Their work was always carried out to a very high standard, as was the work of the other trades. Emma coordinated the build to ensure that the work stayed on track and was finished on time.

The whole experience from start to finish has been so professional and attention to detail has been second to none.

Both Billy and Chiara have been amazing with any questions and helping with ideas, Chiara has offered so much help and advice, nothing has been too much trouble. Emma, project manager was great, always making sure we were fully informed. The loft team, Rob and Sam were so hard-working, skilled and really helpful on a daily basis. We've just had our loft converted with Altitude and we are so glad we chose them.

From when we first met Billy I could tell that he, and Altitude, didn't just want to convert lofts but wanted to create extensions of homes that people would love forever.

The loft work was completed within 5 weeks, decorating took place on the sixth week and any other small things were rectified by the end of the seventh week. From the start we'd had 8 weeks in our heads as a timescale and Altitude far exceeded our expectations.

I was fan of the 'final decision meeting' upfront before work commenced to nut out all the little details.

No hidden surprises. I couldn't speak more highly of John the lead fitter. He work so hard and was meticulous through-out. Everything was measured precisely and his attention to detail and capability to deliver an excellent finish was spot on. If I wanted to do something different, such as wood panelling behind the bed, it was met with a quick response & then executed to perfection to be honest.

Overall, we're very happy with our two new loft rooms and en-suite. The space and finish is superb. The woodwork is spot on. I should also call out praise for Val - he painted the loft & we used him for the ground and first floor finish to - another great decision - again he worked so hard often putting in 11 hour days and the finish was brilliant.

We also had to do a fair amount of work on the first floor to move a wall & take down old ceilings - this was done so thoughtfully and cleanly I couldn't believe it and given the design our first floor space with a double width landing has been transformed.

I look forward to enjoying our new home, but if we move again I wouldn't hesitate to work with Billy/Chiara and team again - with a lot of confidence that it would be the right decision to transform the next home.

We have recently completed our loft conversion in Walton-on-Thames with Altitude Lofts and we now have two new wonderful bedrooms and a bathroom that we love.

We started the process of choosing a loft conversion company over a year ago, slowly inviting different companies into our home to quote for the work. From day one, Billy and Chiara put my wife and I at ease, supplying clear guidance on their process and how their competitive quote was broken down. We knew exactly what was in and out of scope and how much we were paying and when. Their quote came in on budget but they were flexible in allowing us to add and subtract items from the build as it progressed. For instance we opted to have all of our roof retiled while the scaffolding was up and extended the plasterwork from the loft down all of the stair including the entrance hall and landings. I even wanted another cupboard space adding after some of the plasterwork was done and Billy accommodated it all.

Nothing phases Billy; his sense of calm makes you feel really secure. He is also really reliable, things happened when he said and if anything did change, our expectations were managed. His attention to detail in his craft is fantastic. This has been commented on by other tradespeople who have come to do other work in our house. He humoured all of my daft questions and went above-and-beyond to accommodate our needs including thoughtfully working around toddler sleep times when possible. Billy always left the house and site clean and tidy.

Chiara project managed the off-site side brilliantly. She’s been easy to get hold of and quick to respond. Chaira helped us with everything from amending technical drawings, submitting applications and coordinating with our neighbours to ensure everything ran smoothly.

We were recommended Altitude by our neighbours and we are so glad we went with them.
